Turkey Meatloaf Recipe

This turkey meatloaf recipe is a healthy alternative to traditional meatloaf. Packed with flavor, it makes for a perfect dinner.

  • 1.5 lbs ground turkey preferably lean
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs whole wheat
  • 1 small onion finely chopped
  • 2 eggs lightly beaten
  • 1 tbsp ketchup plus extra for topping
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper freshly ground

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, beaten eggs, and ketchup. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Transfer mixture to a lightly greased loaf pan. Spread additional ketchup on top if desired.
  • Bake in preheated oven for 60 minutes or until cooked through.

Notes

Let the meatloaf rest for a few minutes before slicing. Serve with your favorite sides.
