Preparation Steps
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
In a baking dish, combine the cooked beef, cream of mushroom soup, and mixed vegetables.
Top with a layer of tater tots followed by a layer of cheddar cheese, if using.
Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, until the tater tots are golden and crispy.
Notes
For a bit of spice, add a dash of hot sauce to the beef mixture.
