Steak and Potato Soup

This hearty steak and potato soup is filled with tender beef strips and soft potatoes, seasoned to perfection.

  • 1.5 lbs beef steak sliced into thin strips
  • 3 cups potatoes peeled and diced
  • 1 cup onion chopped
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt to taste
  • 1 tsp black pepper to taste

Preparation Steps

  • Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium-high heat. Add the sliced steak strips and brown them on all sides.
  • Add the chopped onion to the pot and sauté until translucent.
  • Add the diced potatoes and beef broth. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and let simmer for 30 minutes.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider adding a pinch of thyme or rosemary.
