Shipwreck Casserole

  • 1.5 pounds ground beef 80% lean
  • 4 cups sliced potatoes thinly sliced
  • 1 large onion chopped
  • 1 can tomato soup 10.75 oz can
  • 1 can green beans drained

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  • In a baking dish, layer the beef, sliced potatoes, onion, tomato soup, and green beans. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 1 hour or until potatoes are tender.

Notes

This casserole can be prepared ahead and refrigerated before baking. Add a bit of cheese on top for a creamy twist!
