This delicious no-bake Scotcheroos recipe combines the perfect mix of chocolate, peanut butter, and crispy cereal.

  • 1 cup light corn syrup
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 6 cups crispy rice cereal
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup butterscotch chips

Preparation Steps

  • In a large saucepan, combine corn syrup and sugar. Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently until the mixture begins to boil.
  • Remove from heat and stir in peanut butter until smooth.
  • Add the crispy rice cereal to the peanut butter mixture and stir until evenly coated.
  • Press the cereal mixture into a greased 9x13-inch pan.
  • Melt the chocolate and butterscotch chips together, stirring until smooth.
  • Spread the melted mixture over the cereal mixture in the pan.
  • Allow to cool and set before cutting into squares.

Store in an airtight container for up to a week.
