Preparation Steps
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a medium bowl, mix together the flour, softened butter, and half of the sugar.

Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9x13 inch pan.
Bake for 15 to 20 minutes in the preheated oven, or until firm and golden.
In another bowl, whisk together the remaining sugar and lemon juice with eggs. Pour over the baked crust.

Return to the oven for 20 minutes. Allow to cool completely before cutting into squares.
Notes
For a little garnish, add a sprinkle of powdered sugar before serving.
