Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.
In a large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
Stir in the Heath toffee bits and chocolate chips.
Press the dough evenly into the prepared baking pan.
Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown. Let cool completely before cutting into bars.
Notes
These bars are best served at room temperature. Store in an airtight container.
