Combine ground beef with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder in a large bowl.
Gently mix the ingredients using your hands until just combined—avoid overworking the meat.
Form into 4 equal patties, slightly larger than your buns, and make a small indentation in the center of each to prevent bulging during cooking.
Season both sides generously just before grilling or pan-searing for enhanced flavor.
Cook over medium-high heat for about 3–4 minutes per side for medium doneness.
Notes
