Instructions
Preparation Steps
Brown the beef in a large pot or Dutch oven.
Add onion and garlic; cook until softened.
Stir in paprika, caraway seeds, and tomato paste.
Add crushed tomatoes and beef broth. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 1 hour.
Add potatoes and carrots; simmer for another 30 minutes, or until vegetables are tender.
Notes
