  • 0.5 tsp Salt
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 0.75 cup Warm Water

Preparation Steps

  • In a large bowl, whisk together the gluten-free flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • Add the olive oil and warm water to the flour mixture. Stir until a soft dough forms.
  • Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead for 2-3 minutes, or until smooth.
  • Divide the dough into 8 equal portions. Roll each portion into a ball.
  • On a lightly floured surface, roll each ball into a thin circle, about 6-8 inches in diameter.
  • Heat a large skillet or griddle over medium heat. Cook each tortilla for 1-2 minutes per side, or until lightly browned and puffed up.
  • Serve immediately or store in an airtight container.

Notes

For best results, use a gluten-free all-purpose flour blend that contains xanthan gum. This will help to bind the dough and prevent it from becoming crumbly.
