Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a medium bowl, whisk together flour and baking soda. Set aside.
In a large bowl, cream together softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
Beat in vanilla extract and eggs, one at a time, until fully incorporated.
Gradually mix in the flour mixture until just combined.
Fold in chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto ungreased baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
Bake for 9 to 11 minutes, or until edges are golden brown.
Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
