Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Cook macaroni according to package directions.
Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Whisk in flour and cook for 1 minute.
Gradually whisk in milk until smooth. Bring to a simmer, stirring constantly. Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes, or until thickened.
Stir in cheddar cheese, salt, and pepper until melted and smooth. Stir in cooked chicken and macaroni.
Pour into a greased baking dish. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until bubbly and golden brown.
Notes
For extra flavor, add a sprinkle of paprika before baking.
