Instructions
Preparation Steps
In a large pot, combine chicken, chicken broth, and cream of chicken soup. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat.
Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 25 minutes until chicken is cooked through.
Remove chicken and shred with two forks, then return to pot.
Add tortilla strips to the pot, cover, and simmer for an additional 10 minutes.
Season with salt and pepper to taste before serving.
Notes
This dish is best served warm and pairs well with a side of fresh vegetables.
