Cheeseburger Casserole

A delicious and easy-to-make cheeseburger casserole that's perfect for a family dinner.

  • 1.5 lbs ground beef lean
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese divided
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes drained
  • 1 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 8 oz pasta elbow macaroni

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Cook pasta according to package instructions, then drain.
  • In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
  • Stir in diced tomatoes, ketchup, mustard, onion powder, and garlic powder into the beef. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Combine the beef mixture with the cooked pasta and 1/2 cup of cheddar cheese.
  • Transfer mixture to a baking dish and top with remaining cheese.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until heated through and cheese is melted and bubbly.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
