Preparation Steps

  • Season chicken with Cajun seasoning.
  • In a large pot over medium heat, add vegetable oil and brown chicken on both sides. Remove and set aside.
  • Add flour to the pot and stir until it's lightly browned. Gradually whisk in chicken broth until smooth.
  • Return chicken to the pot, cover, and simmer for 20 minutes.
  • Pour in heavy cream, stir, and let it simmer for another 10 minutes. Serve hot.
