Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
Spread crushed pineapple and cherry pie filling in the prepared dish.
Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the fruit mixture.
Pour melted butter over the cake mix, trying to cover as much of the surface as possible.
Sprinkle chopped pecans over the top.
Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until golden brown and bubbly.
Let cool slightly before topping with sliced bananas, whipped cream, and maraschino cherries (if using).
Notes
Serve warm or cold. Store leftovers in the refrigerator.
