Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large bowl, cream together butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in vanilla.

Gradually add flour and salt to the butter mixture and mix until just combined. Do not overmix.

Roll dough into small balls (about 1 inch). Place on ungreased baking sheets.
Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until edges are lightly golden.
Let cool slightly on baking sheets before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
If desired, dust cooled cookies with powdered sugar.
