Preparation Steps

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large bowl, cream together butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in vanilla.

  • Gradually add flour and salt to the butter mixture and mix until just combined. Do not overmix.

  • Roll dough into small balls (about 1 inch). Place on ungreased baking sheets.
