  • 0.5 lb Ground beef (80/20)
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 0.5 tsp Black pepper
  • 2 tbsp Butter Salted butter is preferred
  • 2 Burger buns
  • 4 slices Cheese slices (cheddar or your choice)
  • 1 Tomato Sliced
  • 1 Onion Sliced

Preparation Steps

  • Combine ground beef, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Gently mix until combined.
  • Form the mixture into two patties.
  • Cook the patties in a skillet over medium-high heat for 4-5 minutes per side, or until cooked to your liking.
  • During the last minute of cooking, top each patty with 1 tablespoon of butter.
  • Place cooked patties on buns. Add cheese slices and let them melt slightly.
  • Top with tomato, onion, and any other desired toppings.
