Preparation Steps
Combine ground beef, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Gently mix until combined.
Form the mixture into two patties.
Cook the patties in a skillet over medium-high heat for 4-5 minutes per side, or until cooked to your liking.
During the last minute of cooking, top each patty with 1 tablespoon of butter.
Place cooked patties on buns. Add cheese slices and let them melt slightly.
Top with tomato, onion, and any other desired toppings.
