Watermelon Feta Skewers

Refreshing and incredibly easy, these Watermelon Feta Skewers are the perfect appetizer or side dish for any summer gathering. Sweet watermelon meets salty feta with a hint of mint for a burst of flavor.

  • 4 cups seedless watermelon cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 8 ounces feta cheese cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 0.5 cup fresh mint leaves chopped
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic glaze for drizzling

Preparation Steps

  • Thread a cube of watermelon onto a small skewer. Leave a little space.
  • Follow with a cube of feta cheese. If using larger feta cubes, you may want to cut them down to size to fit on the skewer proportionally with the watermelon.
  • Add a few fresh mint leaves, tucking them around the feta cheese.
  • Repeat the layering process if your skewers are long enough. You want a visually appealing stack.
  • Arrange the skewers on a serving platter.
  • Just before serving, drizzle the skewers with balsamic glaze.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy the refreshing combination of flavors.

Notes

For an extra touch of flavor, you can lightly salt the watermelon cubes before skewering. Ensure the watermelon is well-chilled for the best taste and texture.
