  • 1.5 lbs chicken breast boneless and skinless
  • 1 cup water chestnuts sliced
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook chicken until golden brown.
  • In a bowl, mix sour cream, sliced water chestnuts, and half of the cheddar cheese.
  • Combine cooked chicken with sour cream mixture and spread in a casserole dish.
  • Top with remaining cheese and bake for 30 minutes.

Notes

Serve warm with a side salad for a complete meal.
