Turkey Soup Recipe

This hearty turkey soup is perfect for using up leftover turkey and is a comforting dish for chilly days.

  • 3 cups cooked turkey shredded
  • 1 cup carrots sliced
  • 1 cup celery sliced
  • 1 cup onion chopped
  • 6 cups turkey stock
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 teaspoons salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper freshly ground

Preparation Steps

  • In a large pot, heat a tablespoon of oil over medium heat. Add onions, carrots, and celery. Sauté until soft.
  • Add garlic and cook for an additional 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Pour in turkey stock and bring to a boil.
  • Add shredded turkey to the pot, reduce heat, and simmer for 20-30 minutes.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste before serving.

Notes

Feel free to add other leftover vegetables for added flavor and nutrition.
