  • 1.5 lbs ground beef lean
  • 1 packet taco seasoning homemade or store-bought
  • 4 cups frozen hash brown potatoes thawed
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup 10.5 oz
  • 0.5 cup sour cream

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
  • Add taco seasoning to the ground beef. Stir until well combined.
  • In a large bowl, mix together hash brown potatoes, cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, and cheese.
  • Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish. Spread the potato mixture evenly in the dish.
  • Spread the seasoned beef over the potato mixture.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 40 minutes, or until the casserole is bubbly and lightly browned on top.
