Preparation Steps
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a large bowl, combine ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, salt, and pepper. Gently mix until just combined.
Roll the meat mixture into 1-inch meatballs.
In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Brown the meatballs on all sides.
Sprinkle flour over the meatballs and stir to coat.
Gradually whisk in beef broth until smooth.
Bring to a simmer, reduce heat, and cook for 15 minutes, or until the meatballs are cooked through.
Stir in sour cream and heat through.
Serve immediately.
Notes
Serve with mashed potatoes, egg noodles, or your favorite side dish. Lingonberry sauce is a classic pairing.
