Steakhouse Potato Salad

Creamy and tangy potato salad with bacon and cheddar cheese, perfect for BBQs and potlucks.

  • 2 lbs Russet potatoes Peeled and cubed
  • 1 cup Mayonnaise
  • 0.5 cup Sour cream
  • 0.25 cup Dijon mustard
  • 0.5 cup Cooked bacon Crumbled
  • 0.5 cup Shredded cheddar cheese
  • 0.25 cup Chopped green onions
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 0.5 tsp Black pepper

Preparation Steps

  • Boil the potatoes in salted water until tender, about 15 minutes. Drain and let cool slightly.
  • In a large bowl, combine mayonnaise, sour cream, and Dijon mustard.
  • Add the cooled potatoes, bacon, cheddar cheese, and green onions to the bowl. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Gently mix all ingredients until well combined.
  • Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow flavors to meld.

Notes

For a spicier version, add a pinch of cayenne pepper or a dash of hot sauce.
