Skinny General Tso's Chicken

A lighter take on the classic General Tso's Chicken, this recipe reduces the oil and sugar for a healthier yet equally delicious dish.

  • 1.5 lbs Boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp Cornstarch
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 0.5 tsp Black pepper

Preparation Steps

  • Cut chicken into bite-sized pieces. In a bowl, combine flour, cornstarch, salt, and pepper. Add chicken and toss to coat.
  • Heat oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook until browned and cooked through.

Serve over rice or quinoa for a complete meal. Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
