  • 1.5 pounds shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 10 ounces cheese tortellini store-bought
  • 1 cup Alfredo sauce homemade or jarred
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese grated, for garnish
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper to taste

Preparation Steps

  • Cook the tortellini according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, heat the butter and olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook until pink and opaque, about 3-4 minutes per side. Season with pepper.
  • Reduce the heat to low, add the cooked tortellini and Alfredo sauce to the skillet. Stir until everything is combined and heated through.
  • Serve with grated Parmesan cheese on top.

Notes

For an extra touch, sprinkle with some freshly chopped parsley before serving.
