Preparation Steps
Cook shrimp until pink and opaque. Let cool completely.
Chop celery and red onion.
In a bowl, combine mayonnaise, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper.
Add cooked shrimp, celery, and red onion to the bowl. Gently mix.
Serve chilled.
Notes
For a spicier shrimp salad, add a pinch of cayenne pepper. You can also add other vegetables such as chopped bell peppers or cucumbers.
