These easy sausage wonton cups are a crowd-pleasing appetizer or snack, featuring a savory filling baked in crispy wonton wrappers.

  • 1 pound ground sausage
  • 0.5 cup cream cheese softened
  • 0.25 cup sour cream
  • 0.5 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 0.125 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 package wonton wrappers

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a mini muffin tin.
  • In a large skillet, cook the ground sausage over medium-high heat until browned. Drain off any excess grease.

  • Stir in the softened cream cheese, sour cream, shredded cheddar cheese, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, and black pepper. Mix until well combined and creamy.

  • Place one wonton wrapper into each cup of the prepared mini muffin tin, pressing it down to form a cup shape. You can lightly spray the edges with cooking spray if desired.

  • Spoon the sausage mixture evenly into each wonton cup.
  • Bake for 15-18 minutes, or until the wonton edges are golden brown and the filling is heated through.
  • Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Garnish with chopped chives or a drizzle of sriracha for an extra kick.
