Sausage Frittata

A delicious and easy sausage frittata recipe, perfect for breakfast, brunch, or a light dinner. This recipe is packed with flavor and protein.

  • 1 pound Italian sausage
  • 1 cup diced onion
  • 8 large eggs
  • 0.5 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Preparation Steps

  • Cook sausage in a large skillet over medium heat until browned. Drain off any excess grease.
  • Add diced onion to the skillet and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
  • Pour egg mixture over sausage and onion in the skillet. Sprinkle with cheese.
  • Cook over medium-low heat until the frittata is set and the cheese is melted, about 20-25 minutes.
  • Let cool slightly before slicing and serving.

Notes

Serve warm with a side salad or toast.
