Instructions
Prepare Meatballs
In a large bowl, combine ground beef, bread crumbs, milk, egg, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until just combined.
Form the mixture into 1-inch meatballs.
Cook Meatballs
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add meatballs to the skillet and cook, browning on all sides. Remove the meatballs and set aside.
Make Gravy
In the same skillet, add chopped onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute more.
Sprinkle flour over the onions and garlic, stirring constantly for 1 minute.
Gradually whisk in beef broth, soy sauce, and Worcestershire sauce. Bring to a simmer, stirring until the gravy thickens.
Season with salt and pepper.
Return the meatballs to the skillet and simmer for 15 minutes, or until the meatballs are cooked through and the gravy has thickened.
Notes
Serve the Salisbury steak meatballs over mashed potatoes or egg noodles for a complete meal.
