Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
- 1 bell pepper chopped
- 1 small onion chopped
- 8 ounces mushrooms sliced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 6 ounces cream cheese softened
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 6 slices provolone cheese
- 2 tablespoons parsley chopped
Instructions
Heat the oven to 375°F and lightly grease a 9-by-13-inch baking dish.
Brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat, breaking it into small pieces; drain excess fat if needed.
Add the bell pepper, onion, and mushrooms. Cook until the vegetables soften and their moisture cooks away.
Stir in the salt, garlic powder, onion powder, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce.
Lower the heat. Add the cream cheese and beef broth, stirring until the sauce is smooth and coats the beef.
Transfer the mixture to the baking dish and arrange the provolone over the top.
Bake for 15 minutes, until the cheese is melted and the edges are bubbling. Rest for 5 minutes and garnish with parsley.
