  • 1.5 pounds ribeye steak, thinly sliced or substitute with any preferred cut
  • 1 large green bell pepper sliced
  • 1 large onion sliced
  • 8 ounces mushrooms sliced
  • 2 cups shredded provolone cheese
  • 4 cups cooked white rice or substitute with quinoa
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper to taste

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Sauté the onions, bell peppers, and mushrooms until softened, about 5 minutes.
  • Add the thinly sliced steak to the skillet and cook until browned.
  • Season with salt and black pepper, then remove from heat.
  • In a 9x13 inch baking dish, layer the cooked white rice, steak mixture, and shredded provolone cheese.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
