In a bowl, mix together the flour, melted butter, and granulated sugar until well combined. Press the mixture evenly into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish to form the crust.
Bake the crust for 15 minutes, then remove it from the oven to cool slightly.
In another bowl, combine the brown sugar, corn syrup, and beaten eggs. Stir in the chopped pecans.
Pour the pecan mixture over the baked crust, spreading it evenly.
Return the dish to the oven and bake for an additional 30 minutes or until the filling is set.
Allow the bars to cool completely before cutting into squares.
Notes
For an extra crunch, lightly toast the pecans before adding them to the filling.
