Peanut Butter Fudge Recipe

A rich and creamy homemade peanut butter fudge made with simple ingredients. Perfect for holidays, gifts, or a sweet treat.

  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 0.5 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter

Preparation Steps

  • Line an 8x8-inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on the sides for easy removal.
  • In a medium saucepan, combine sugar and milk. Heat over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the sugar is dissolved.
  • Bring the mixture to a full rolling boil, then boil for 5 minutes, stirring frequently to prevent scorching.
  • Remove from heat and immediately stir in peanut butter, butter, vanilla extract, and salt until smooth and fully combined.
  • Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
  • Let cool at room temperature for 2 hours, or until completely set. Alternatively, refrigerate for 1 hour.
  • Lift fudge out of the pan using the parchment overhang and cut into 24 squares.

Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 week or in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
