Peanut Butter Blossoms

Classic peanut butter cookies topped with a chocolate kiss. Perfect for holiday baking or any time of year!

  • 1.75 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking soda
  • 0.5 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 cup Unsalted butter, softened
  • 0.5 cup Creamy peanut butter
  • 0.5 cup Granulated sugar
  • 0.5 cup Packed brown sugar
  • 1 Large egg
  • 2 tablespoon Milk
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 48 Hershey's Kisses, unwrapped

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
  • In a large bowl, cream together butter, peanut butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Beat in egg, then stir in milk and vanilla.
  • Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  • Roll dough into 1-inch balls and place on ungreased baking sheets.
  • Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until edges are lightly golden.
  • Immediately press a chocolate kiss into the center of each cookie.
  • Let cool on baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature.
