Oven Baked Boneless Pork Chops

Ingredients
- 4 boneless pork chops at least 1 inch thick
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon yellow mustard
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
Instructions
Heat the oven to 400°F and line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment or foil.
Place the pork chops between plastic wrap and gently tenderize each with four or five light taps.
Rub the chops with olive oil and mustard. Mix the brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper, then coat the chops.
Bake on the middle rack for 12 to 15 minutes, then broil for 1 to 2 minutes until browned and the thickest chop reaches at least 145°F.
Rest the chops in the pan for 5 minutes before serving.
Use chops of similar thickness for even cooking.
If broiling, remove parchment when required by the parchment manufacturer.
