Preparation Steps
In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
In a separate bowl, beat 2 cups of heavy whipping cream and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.
Gently fold whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture.
In a shallow dish, spread a thin layer of whipped cream mixture. Arrange a layer of Oreo cookies on top.
Spread another layer of whipped cream mixture over the cookies. Repeat layers until all ingredients are used, ending with a layer of whipped cream.
Beat remaining 1 cup of heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Frost the cake and garnish with crushed Oreo cookies.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight.
Notes
For best results, allow the cake to chill overnight to soften the cookies completely.
