  • 0.25 cup Mini Chocolate Chips Dairy-free option available
  • 0.25 cup M&Ms Optional
  • 2 tablespoons Chia Seeds Optional, for added nutrients

Preparation Steps

  • In a large bowl, combine rolled oats, peanut butter, honey, chocolate chips, M&Ms (if using), and chia seeds (if using).
  • Mix all ingredients together until well combined. The mixture should be sticky enough to form balls.
  • Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls. If the mixture is too sticky, lightly wet your hands.
  • Place the energy balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the balls to firm up.

Notes

Store the energy balls in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week. They can also be frozen for longer storage.
