Lemon Pepper Asparagus

A simple and flavorful way to prepare asparagus, tossed with fresh lemon and cracked black pepper.

  • 1 pound Asparagus trimmed
  • 2 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black Pepper freshly ground
  • 0.5 teaspoon Lemon Zest
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice freshly squeezed

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Toss the trimmed asparagus with olive oil, salt, and black pepper on the prepared baking sheet.

  • Roast for 8-12 minutes, or until tender-crisp, depending on the thickness of the asparagus.
  • Remove from oven and immediately toss with lemon zest and lemon juice.

  • Serve immediately.
