Preparation Steps
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in lemon zest and lavender.
In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
Drop by rounded tablespoons onto ungreased baking sheets.
Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until edges are lightly golden.
Let cool on baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
