Lemon Garlic Pasta

This delightful lemon garlic pasta combines fresh lemon zest, aromatic garlic, and parmesan into a dish that's both simple and delicious.

  • 8 oz spaghetti use your favorite brand
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 pc lemon zested and juiced
  • 0.5 cup parmesan cheese grated
  • 0.25 tsp salt or to taste
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper freshly ground
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley chopped

Preparation Steps

  • Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  • Stir in the lemon zest and lemon juice. Add the cooked spaghetti to the skillet and toss to coat.
  • Add grated parmesan cheese, salt, and black pepper. Toss until well combined and the cheese has melted.
  • Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

For an extra kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes.
