  • 1.5 lbs ground beef 80% lean
  • 0.5 lbs ground pork
  • 1 cup bread crumbs Italian seasoned
  • 0.5 cup milk
  • 1 large egg beaten
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 small onion finely chopped
  • 0.5 cup ketchup

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, ground pork, bread crumbs, milk, egg, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, garlic, and onion. Mix until well combined.
  • Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a baking dish.
  • Spread the ketchup over the top of the meatloaf.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 60 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
  • Let the meatloaf rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

This meatloaf is great served with mashed potatoes and steamed vegetables.
