Crust

  • 1.5 cups Chocolate Wafer Crumbs Finely crushed
  • 0.33 cup Melted Butter Unsalted

Filling

  • 4 oz Bittersweet Chocolate Chopped
  • 0.5 cup Heavy Cream
  • 2 tbsp Cocoa Powder
  • 0.25 cup Granulated Sugar

Topping

  • 1 cup Heavy Cream For whipping
  • 2 tbsp Powdered Sugar
  • Chocolate Shavings For garnish

Instructions
 

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Combine chocolate wafer crumbs and melted butter in a bowl. Press into the bottom of a 9-inch pie plate.
  • Bake the crust for 10 minutes. Let cool.
  • Melt bittersweet chocolate and heavy cream in a double boiler or microwave. Stir until smooth.
  • Whisk in cocoa powder and granulated sugar. Pour into cooled crust.
  • Chill for at least 3 hours, or overnight.
  • Whip heavy cream and powdered sugar until stiff peaks form.
  • Spread whipped cream over chilled pie. Garnish with chocolate shavings. Serve cold.
