Instructions
Preparation Steps
Pat the cod fillets dry with paper towels and season with salt and pepper.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Carefully place the cod fillets in the hot skillet and sear for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
Remove the cod from the skillet and set aside. Reduce heat to medium.
Add butter to the skillet and let it melt. Add minced garlic and cook for about 30 seconds, until fragrant.
Stir in fresh parsley and lemon juice. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Pour the herb butter sauce over the seared cod and serve immediately.
