Preparation Steps
Spread the peanuts on a baking sheet and toast at 350°F (175°C) for 5-7 minutes.
In a saucepan, combine sugar and heavy cream. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the sugar dissolves.
Add butter and continue to cook, without stirring, until the mixture reaches 245°F (118°C).
Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.
Pour the caramel over the toasted peanuts and let it cool completely. Cut into bars.
