  • 1 lb Ground beef 80/20 blend
  • 1 oz Taco seasoning Package, low sodium
  • 1 can Diced tomatoes 14.5 oz, undrained
  • 1 can Tomato sauce 8 oz
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 lb Spaghetti
  • 1 cup Shredded cheddar cheese For topping

Preparation Steps

  • In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium-high heat. Drain off any excess grease.
  • Stir in the taco seasoning, diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, and water. Bring to a simmer.
  • Add the uncooked spaghetti to the skillet. Make sure the spaghetti is submerged in the sauce. Break the spaghetti in half if needed.
  • Cover the skillet and cook for 15-20 minutes, or until the spaghetti is cooked through and the sauce has thickened. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.
  • Remove from heat and sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese. Let stand for a few minutes until the cheese is melted.
