  • 0.5 cup Cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp Vegetable oil

Sauce Ingredients

  • 0.5 cup Honey
  • 0.25 cup Soy sauce Low sodium preferred
  • 2 tbsp Rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp Sriracha Adjust to taste
  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced
  • 1 tsp Ginger Grated

Preparation Steps

  • In a bowl, toss the chicken pieces with cornstarch until evenly coated.
  • Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the chicken in a single layer (you may need to work in batches) and cook for 5-7 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  • Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, combine the honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sriracha, garlic, and ginger. Bring to a simmer and cook for 2-3 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened slightly.
  • Add the cooked chicken back to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce.
  • Serve immediately over rice or noodles. Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions, if desired.

Notes

For extra spice, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the sauce. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
