This baked ravioli recipe combines store-bought ravioli with a flavorful homemade meat sauce and plenty of cheese, all baked to bubbly perfection. A quick and easy weeknight dinner!

  • 25 oz Refrigerated Ravioli Cheese or meat filled
  • 1 lb Ground Beef Lean
  • 24 oz Jarred Marinara Sauce Your favorite brand
  • 1 cup Ricotta Cheese Whole milk or part-skim
  • 0.5 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • 1 cup Shredded Mozzarella Cheese

Other Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 tsp Dried Oregano
  • 0.5 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 0.25 tsp Salt
  • 0.25 tsp Black Pepper

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook, breaking it up with a spoon, until browned. Drain excess grease.
  • Stir in marinara sauce, oregano, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • In a medium bowl, combine ricotta cheese and half of the parmesan cheese.
  • Spread a thin layer of meat sauce on the bottom of the prepared baking dish. Arrange half of the ravioli in a single layer over the sauce. Spread the ricotta cheese mixture over the ravioli, then top with the remaining ravioli and meat sauce.
  • Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese and the remaining parmesan cheese.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until bubbly and cheese is melted and golden brown. Let stand for 5-10 minutes before serving.

Notes

Serve with a side salad and garlic bread for a complete meal!
