  • 2.5 cups All-Purpose Flour spooned and leveled
  • 1 tablespoon Baking Powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper freshly ground
  • 0.5 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese freshly grated
  • 1.25 cups Buttermilk cold
  • 0.5 cup Butter melted and cooled

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat oven to 450°F (232°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and black pepper. Stir in parmesan cheese.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together buttermilk and melted butter. Add to dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not overmix.
  • Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, about 2 inches apart.
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
  • Serve warm.

Notes

These biscuits are best served warm. Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature.
