Total
: 25 minutes
Ingredients
- 2 cups fresh fruit washed, dried, and sliced into even pieces
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice for brushing, optional for fruits that brown easily
Instructions
Wash and dry the fruit thoroughly, then remove pits, cores, stems, or tough peels as needed. Slice the fruit evenly so pieces finish at a similar time.
Brush the slices lightly with lemon juice if desired. Arrange them in a single layer in the air-fryer basket, leaving small gaps for air to circulate.
Set the air fryer to 180°F (82°C) or its lowest dehydrating temperature. Air-fry for 1 to 2 hours, checking and turning the slices every 30 minutes.
Continue until the fruit is dry to the touch and pliable or crisp according to the fruit and your preference. Cool completely before storing.
